Biafra4life: Warri, when some of these multinational oil companies where operating there, was a place full of commercial activities until our boys started attacking and kidnapping their workers forcing these companies to relocate to others places including Lagos. Today, Warri is a shadow of itself. Mobil was operating fully in Eket in Akwa Ibom State till the boys there started attacking and kidnapping workers (I have a friend who works there who will always tell us how he narrowly escaped death). The company had to move it's operations to Lagos. Today, the people and the Govt are trying to force Mobil to relocate to Eket. Note, I am not in any way supporting the illegal and hazardous activities of some of these companies. But am I to blame Lagos or Nigeria for this? Assuming you are a busy man who can do business from either Onitsha or Awka (judging by how notorious Onitsha used to be and how calm and peaceful Awka is, where will you do your business from? 1 Like |

dogmax: If you so much love that agitation and want your republic, why don't you take up the agitation again? Look at nnamdi Kanu. He wants biafra for him and his people even though the civil war ended decades ago. Learn from him. Creat an awareness for Niger delta republic . It might be the solution to their problems don't you think? |

excerpts of Adaka Boro's declaration ... “Economic development of the area is certainly the most appalling aspect. There is not even a single industry. The only fishery industry which ought to be situated in a properly riverine area is sited about 80 miles inland at Aba. The boatyard at Opobo had its headquarters at Enugu … Personnel in these industries and also in the oil stations are predominantly non-Ijaw,” |

The more I see threads like this, the more I see the envy driven energy Yoruba man invests in trying to jam two heads together by claiming Niger delta, the more I wonder what kind of people are these yorubas bikonu? If you hate igbos, shoudn't you be at the forefront of fighting to let them go? This is plain envy! See ee, listen, igbos have ignored you for so long, we endured a lot in Nigeria, do not push them to focus their bile on you inside that Lagos, na una go run ooo You folks can't handle an igbo man's anger., This is a brotherly advice. 1 Like |
