APC Constitutes Fresh Reconciliation Committees For Edo, Ondo States by Edo2020: 5:27pm On Jun 30, 2020
The Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee (CEONCPC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday approved the set up of a reconciliation committee to reconcile warring factions in Edo and Ondo States chapters of the Party.

In a statement made available to Igbere TV, the Party announced the appointment of former Senate President, Sen. Ken Nnamani, GCON and the Governor of Niger State, H.E. Abubakar Sani Bello to chair the Reconciliation Committees for Edo and Ondo States respectively.

“This is in line with the process of true reconciliation among leaders and members of the party at all levels, announced by the National Chairman of the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni,” the statement said.

There is really no problem in Edo APC to reconcile. Edo APC members are united behind Osagie Ize-Iyamu. Obaseki was the problem and he has moved to PDP. What is left is for the party to identify the people he left behind to create confusion and flush them out of the party like Oshiomole did in Kwara after Saraki left.

Ondo APC truly needs reconciliation but I don’t think this committee can achieve that before the election. The division in the party is too strong and deep rooted. The result of the last general election speaks volume. A free, fair and credible primary election is the only way to achieve peace.

Someone should help tell Ondo's reconciliation team that they've huge job to do. Ondo APC is divided in million pieces.
