Let me tell you, it's easier to understand any Niger delta IGBO language than any Ebonyi IGBO language..

Ukwuani - We might need to do a referendum here in the future. Some communities here are more receptive to Igbo tag than others.

Aniocha - Definitely Igbos. Ndioma Ndioma.

Oshimili - Ezigbote umunnem. Ndio oya adili mma.

Ika - Another place we need a referendum. The likes of Ekwuoma, Abavo, Igbodo might vote to become part of Enuani and stay with us. The Agbor, Owa, etc are neck deep in Igbo denial though no way close to the toxicity emanating from Ikwerre/Ogba.

Etche/Omuma- Used to be Igbo, but are getting increasingly influenced by Ikwerres. Lots of violently Igbophobic Etches now exist. There is one I know on facebook.

Ekpeye - Same as Etche above.

Igbanke- Same case as Agbor

Ndoni - These ones are on the fence. But harbour no iota of Igbophobia. They are waiting for us to put our house in order, and they would come aboard.



Osekwenike/Abuetor- These are all Isoko communities in Bayelsa I learnt. They are not Igbos.

Isobo - They are Igbos but while they remain in Cross River, they will not be too loud about it to avoid unnecessary Igbophobia from their non Igbo neighbors.

Umuezekhoha : The Igbos of Benue are proudly Igbos, they have been crying out for help from us in SE for years, yet Ohanaeze is as useless as they come, so no help on the way. How long before they decide to severe ties us and run solo, only time will tell!

Opobo- It has been lost to Ijaws. It will take a lot to bring it back. They are not Igbos for now.
