Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has praised the performance of his side in the game against Barcelona last night.

The Madrid side in pursuit of a Champions League spot came to Barcelona with a plan and it seems the plan worked quite well as they were able to steal a point at the end of the game.

Diego Costa put Barcelona in front after scoring an own goal but the lead didn't last long as Saul Niguez drew Atletico Madrid level from the penalty spot.

Barcelona also got a penalty of their own in the 50th minute of the game which Messi converted but it wasn't over as Atletico Madrid also earn another penalty and Saul Niguez was there to convert again to earn his side a draw.
