I am about 2 buy nokia N900(not new) 4rm someone and after paying 4 d phone he now tell's me 2 pay extra money 4 jibbreaking. Pls can jibbreaking be done on n900?

DO you mean Jailbreaking? And if so,there is no need for that on a Nokia N900. Except you are thinking of Porting an Andriod ROM to the phone. cheesy which of course does not qualify as jailbreaking. So my friend hold your money tight.

He may have meant 'signing', then yes, you do need to hav a signer so to be able to install unsigned apps. But that's a simple procedure which you can do yourself.

@ezebinagwu the nokia n900 is not a symbian phone, so there is absolutely no need for signing apps, it doesnt make use of the archaic .sis and .sisx files.
@poster the n900 is extremely open source, you can toy with it all you want.
