Delta State Governor and his wife, Edith the First Lady have tested positive to COVID-19.



Governor Okowa took to his verified social media page on Wednesday July 1st, 2020 to confirm their COVID-19 status after their daughter contracted the virus that sent the first family into isolation.

He wrote;

My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication. We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter.
