Why is it that Africa is only good in thinking of selling their natural resources and turning the Economy into a Mono? I saw a post on mining gold and selling and I never saw one on plan, or creating companies that would actually turn these products into finished goods like jewelries

Why does Africa only like to sell and sell their natural resources? How many countries have grown through that way?
Look at Congo Republic, they are the highest producer of major raw materials for mobile phones and yet, all they do is sell at cheap prices, buy the refined products at exorbitant amounts.

Many advanced world aren't just focused on what or how to sell their natural resources, but also how
to turn it into a finished product, which would create more jobs, and would be more sustainable for the Economy
Where's the sustainability in just selling and selling? Well, if its any true they want to start minining, they should create an enabling enviroment for turning it into finished products.

Mining gold would be a bad development if we do not have companies that would be making some nice jewelries and other products out of those gold. Because selling to these whites people, they gonna come back to sell the jeweleries to us double the price of the raw materials we sold to them. Also if we have both companies mining and making jewelries out if it, that would be using one stone to kill to birds as we would provide more jobs for the youths and sell out to other countries as well.

I'm sure once they turn towards our gold, they wouldn't stop until they finish it off or its value is diminished in the international market just like they did to our oil. We would face another years of mono economy and no jobs for our youths and our beautiful coming generations.

Must we always be thinking of today alone? What about the future? Stop selling our natural resources and buying it back triple the size. We are tired of this bull crap

What's your opinion on this?

We want a brighter future for the coming generation, we don't want this huge unemployment for them, we don't want them to face the challenges we face. We want the best for them, and what we do today determines the system they would come meet

See people can't give more than they have
When we elect leaders based on tribe what do u expect

Most Africans are naturally socialist ...apart from igbos , Edo/ Delta partially ...efik ...most Nigerians are socialist ....they are scared of competition

U need to be an economic to take advantage of resources ....and it favours the west so they keep supporting socialist ...

Sometimes, I do not blame all those whites when they insult us, because no matter how I try to blame the leaders I just can't, but blame the People who created such an insane society
