The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 626 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 27,110. 13 new deaths were recorded along with 649 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 626 new cases are reported from 20 states- Lagos (193), FCT (85), Oyo (41), Edo (38), Kwara (34), Abia (31), Ogun (29), Ondo (28), Rivers (26), Osun (21), Akwa Ibom (18), Delta (18), Enugu (15), Kaduna (13), Plateau (11), Borno (, Bauchi (7), Adamawa (5), Gombe (4), Sokoto (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of NCDC shows that the 626 cases were from 20 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 193. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 85 while Oyo State had 41. 649 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 10,801 from 10,152. There were 13 new deaths. Find the breakdown below:
