Masari, Katsina Residents Hold Prayers Against Bandits by ghettokid1(m): 8:06am On Jul 03, 2020
Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari and some residents of the State on Thursday began a three-day special prayer for divine intervention against banditry, other security challenges and COVID-19.

The prayer section commenced at about 10am and was observed for three hours at Bani Coomasie Jumu'at mosque in Katsina, the State capital, the Punch reports.
Over 300 adherents, made up largely of ulamas (Islamic Scholars) attended the Thursday prayer section.

Masari, while addresing the ulamas, who were reciting the Holy Quar'an, described the exercise as a step towards making God accept prayers for peace to prevail in the State and Nigeria.

The chief Imam of the mosque, Alhaji Samu Bakori, said the prayers were organised for divine intervention to overcome the problems bedevelling the State and the Country at large.

After you foolishly negotiated with same bandits instead of routing them & now they're back in full force still baying for more ransome & blood? As you make your bed so shall you lie on it

So prayer is not the solution Mr.governor as you go about with armed-to-the-teeth security so provide security for your people.Supidity is inherent in these people.

The stupidity among some governor's in Nigeria is very shocking. This bandits came for a meeting with the Governor, Commissioner of police, DSS director in the state, GOC and non of them could arrest them. The worse part the bandits were given money too undecided
"The governor said in the agreement they signed with the state government, the bandits promised to repent and leave the north-western part of the country"

I'm wondering, this same Governor met and even took photograph with the head bandits some times ago, can't he locate him same way he located him for photography and arrest him if he truly wants to fight insecurity!

Reason why Nigeria cannot grow too much prayers. Israel and Saudi wey be origin of the two most popular religions do not pray in these kind of situations. They whoop the bad guys asses with bombs and fighter jets.
