The stage is set as the battle for the Edo state governorship election begins which is coming up on the 19 of September,2020. The National Working Committe of the PDP has chosen the Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike as the chairman of the campaign team to deliver Edo state to the PDP. The PDP has vowed to resist any attempt of intimidation of the ruling All Progressive Congress, which had also appointed the Kano state governor Abdullahi Ganduje, as the chairman of it’s own campaign team to deliver the state to its candidate pastor Ize-Iyamo.
