The act is set, the scene is ready and the drama is about to be played as APC unleashes some powerful personalities amongst its ranks against the incumbent governor Godwin Obaseki and the PDP, as it names the Kano state governor,Abdullahi Ganduje, the campaign chairman, with the party’s two former chairmen Odegie Oyegun and Adams Oshiomhole from Edo state as part of its campaign team.
It would be recalled that both Oyegun and Oshiomhole had been at daggers drawn towards the build up of the APC governorship primary elections, as Oyegun was in support of Obaseki, and Adams was rooting for Ize-Iyamo, which finally led to the exit of the governor, Godwin Obaseki from APC.
