Does anyone know the proceeding for filing a lawsuit. I want to sue my landlord. He collected houserent and said i should pack out even when he has my money. I refused and said he should either give me my money so i can pack out or allow my paid houserent to expire then i will peacefully pack out. The problem i have with him is that the house is in the name of my friend who has packed out but i decided to renew it in my friend's name. There is no legal section on this forum so i posted it.
