Good evening Pet lovers,

Please we have three Samoyed dogs and a family member "mistakenly" left Otapiapia(rat poison) in the open and one of the dogs have apparently eaten the poison.


Please we need help on what to do urgently to at least save their lives, we dont have communications with a vet so we need any means to save them.

Any suggestions is acceptable please

Well I will give u a local advice, look for palm oil force open it mouth and give it make sure the dog like it ,and give a vet as soon as possible

Look for as much palm oil as you can. If you can get a full ragolis of palm oil. Give it in steady dose it will defuse the posion. Do not over rush it to not injure it. In continuous steady rations.

The posion would have spreader through the system by morning. It's just 8pm. 150cl pal oil isn't more than 600 Naira.


If you wait beyond 3 hours from the duration of the poisoning, you'd have to Bury it. The posion would have run its course

Mix palm oil and charcoal and it will be well.no need of vet.i repeat palm oil and charcoal.it happened to me

get the hard back of coconut after skinning it roast the back till it is black pound it to powered form and mix it with red oil give it to the poisoned dog.Works like magic
