There is no generation that will not experience its famine. The likes of Abraham, David, Daniel, Joseph and other experienced famine and their experiences became the basis of their faith. Your life will not be an exception.

Someone can have money but God will bring a famine that money cannot solve. Sometimes God withdraws the amount of care He gives to believers that are no longer infants to make them realise that they now need to stand on their feet in the midst of adversity.

It is a pity that some people grow in the hands of God as if they will be useful to Him but fail under pressure of intense famine meant to validate their stand in Him. Your reaction in the time of famine speaks much about your strength and place in God.

Lord! I receive the grace to stand and do your will in the days of adversity in Jesus name. Amen.
