Can Tinubu Help Save Magu From Losing His Job, Prosecution? by bolaayenimo: 7:21am On Jul 07, 2020
Acting EFCC chairman, Ibrahim Magu refused to investigate the bullion vans allegations leveled against Tinubu. The bullion vans were sighted in Tinubu's residence on the eve of the 2019 presidential election.

He said Nigerians should write petition which was done by many activists but nothing was done. He rather preferred going after opposition politicians and Yahoo boys.

Now that Magu is being questioned and is on the verge of losing his job, can the APC National leader save him?

Tinubu's place in the politics of Nigeria, can't be wished away. I have said it timelessly, his name, either ways, will still be in the news. So those of you, crying that his name is constantly on Nairaland, should accept this fact or be ready to cry the more. During Obj's regime his name came up, ditto Yaradua,GEJ.
But the truth remains that the Yorubas are Tinunu's worst political enemy. This I have said here repeatedly.
You have so overhyped him, thereby pushing to his death like MKO.
Your political sagacity, notwithstanding, you are relevant to the extent any president in power wants you to be especially within Nigeria context.
Like Babachir Lawal, Mr Fower, formerly of FIRS., it was reported that Tinubu knew Magu's engagement before the became public.
With the fall of the formers and he did nothing, with the current happenings in Apc, there is nothing he can do now.

It is cabal vs cabal right now. I read this morning that Justice Ayo Salami, the judge whose favourable judgments put Aregbesola and other Tinubu boys in government is in charge of the panel screening Magu. Let us see which cabal will win. El-rufai side or tinubu clique?
