The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 575 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 29,286. 9 new deaths were recorded along with 163 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. CrossRiver recorded 5 index cases. Therefore, all the states in Nigeria have recorded COVID-19 cases.

The 575 new cases are reported from 20 states- Lagos(123), FCT(100), Delta(58), Edo(52), Ogun(42), Katsina(24), Bayelsa(23), Rivers(22), Borno(19), Plateau(18), Ondo(18), Oyo(17), Kwara(15), Osun(13), Enugu(9), Nasarawa (7), Abia(6), Cross River(5), Kaduna(3), Ekiti(1).

The breakdown in the tweet of NCDC shows that the 575 cases were from 20 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 123. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 100 while Delta State had 58. 163 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 11,828 from 11,665. There were also 9 new deaths.
