It's just to let us know that we have serveral hushpuppis in Naija despite their political party affiliation, and most of these hushpuppis are endowed with government official plate numbers. Hopefully they'll remember to probe a certain Army Boss wey we hear say follow get Dubai things too.

U have to change your perception cos corruption is based on an individual's character and not a party platform. We've got many corrupt politicians in Nigeria. What you even refer to as APC today are mostly PDP alumni members. In both major political parties there is no ideology, just selfish interest among most politicians affiliated to them

Except you were born in the late nineties or 2000s, you should know that If locking up serving public officers is a yardstick to measure incorruptibility, then PDP should be walking with shoulders high.

Obasanjo jailed a serving inspector general of police, impeached a serving governor and jailed him afterwards, jailed Bode George etc for corruption. All of that does not erase the fact that his government was ridden with corruption.

Buhari till date has not done anything to show he is genuinely interested in fighting corruption. Burutai is still coas, babachir still has access to buhari till date, and ganduje is Buharis right hand man. These are men whose corruption cases are not allegations but established facts.

So cut the crap. Nigeria is neck deep in corruption and buharis government isn't doing a damn thing to fight it.

Any government that is interested in fighting corruption must do at least 2 things to start the journey: make the police substantially independent of the executive and jack up their pay by at least 500%, same with other armed forces. Then develop a rigging proof electoral system to ensure that votes count. When those things are done, then there is hope.

PDP had Alameyesiegha a sitting gov who was accused of money laundering with no hard evidence in the public domain. He was impeached by the PDP state assembly and jailed by the PDP govt.

APC has Ganduje a sitting gov whose bribery and money laundering video has been seen by everyone from a five year old to the president. Yet the president who is the party leader raised his hand for re-election, he won re-election on APC platform and is now the chairman of the campaign council for an upcoming guber election.
