I’m only saying all these because I want my Nigerian brothers and sisters to stay away from cybercrime and earn money online legitimately. The internet is not as anonymous as most people think - even if you use whatever cryptocurrency or encryption.

Yahoo boys thrive in Nigeria because EFCC don’t have the manpower and technical know-how to crack on those ragtag fraudsters. Let some Cybersecurity(not even FBI agents now) wizkids from IBM or Sillicon Valley enter Naija today, they will nab most of those Lagos yahoo boys in a couple of months. Most of these yahoo boys use outdated platforms or bromide procedures to defraud vulnerable people. I know of a friend in the US that can use data mining tools to extract any bitcoin address being used from Nigeria - most of you don’t even know how your network providers protect your IP address or data. And VPN is not even entirely secured.

The best thing is to stay away from crime and fraud but so far you think you can scam people online - be assured that you can be easily tracked with the trails you left behind.

Because it is a mumu, it has forgotten that original details were used in opening the bank account, which the exchange has tied to the details it submitted. It sells for cash, leaving audit trail that will later destroy the whole ring.

Same for the cash to crypto mule. The mule has left footprints in the bank and the scammer collecting his dough as crypto will not protect him 100%. There is always an Achilles heel. It is like pretending to be dead and making it real by trying to bury yourself. There will always be an exposed part of your body no matter how much you try. What about OTC? Well, like someone said, if them get your time they will get you.
