pls I need more clarification. who had used or is using 2009 2.7 engine Toyota highlander? is the vehicle in any way underpowered. I had compared the weight 1800kg I don't think is much different from the picnic 05 and previa. Pls i want to buy the 2.7 engine type but am hearing is underpowered when is full passengers. let me understand what they meant by underpowered: is it that won't run fast or what?

please and please house any body that gay experience of this two vehicle engines the 4 and 6 should help me out. I preferred the 4 cylinder but speculation dt is underpowered I want to really understand. I have only 2 days to decide cos is an open offer to me pls

Another major difference between the two is that V6 is all-wheel drive while the other is front wheel.

But I advise you to go for the V6. Reason, it does not consume fuel as according to St Edmunds car reviews. It has a quiet engine and a lot of power. It is more fuel efficient than 2007 and earlier models.

thanks very much with the clarification and citing the hiace bus that i travelled the other day with 10 passengers and all lugages we still reach all most same time with the private car nd suv. I asked the driver how many cylinders he said 4 cylinder. So I wonder why 4 cylinder will be underpowered in a vehicle that weighs only 1780kg and can carry highest total of 2000kg. hiace commuters has about 10000kg or more and yet reach almost same time with us. I think the v6 might have more horse power but bad road can't allow it use it so they move slow nd move same speed with others. I compared their hp is 187 to 270. but any vehicle with above 100hp can go anywhere cos u can't even exhaust the power. only little effect when climbing hill if is overloaded..

I JUST check; they consumes about 2 litres higher than 4cylinder nd that is big if u r travelling far. v6 has higher fuel consumption compared nd not easy to despair.

I don't think u get it, if you re travelling the v6 is the better engine, it will achieve high speed with low rpm, so the fuel will be better ,it can only consume more fuel in city driving.
my point: if you travel often chose the v6 variant they are rugged as well ignore kazeemized talks

Oga mi as for me i dont think its underpowered oooooo that SUV is a beast on the road but its better you go for the v6 though has a fairly higher fuel consumption rate but you will enjoy more when you want to travel compared to the 4 plugs.

thank u very much bro. I think 4 plugs can do same work as v6 but v6 will do it more quickly at more money
