His Excellency Atiku Abubakar has called on President Buhari led government to find a solution for student to write 2020 WAEC rather than canceling it.

The former presidential aspirant of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said WAEC cancellation puts Nigeria at more risk.

In his statement, reads;

“Rather than cancellation, there are better ways to protect the health of Nigerians and prevent the pandemic from escalating.

"Already, Nigeria lags behind other African nations in crucial indices, like school enrolment, pass rates, and out of school children. This action will further create chaos in the public education system and exacerbate an already bad situation.

"We could mobilise all available public & private infrastructures, including primary schools, stadia, and cinemas, for the examinations. In the alternative, the Federal Government can prevail on WAEC to have staggered examinations with a different set of questions for each shift.

You could have kept quiet to cognitive discussions since you have none.. these are brilliant ideas to solving the challenge rather than a Government that could not even think up one or lay out options being deliberated such as these.

I think the staggered exams with different questions would be a better option, students would be grouped in 3 or 4 batches.

The use of all available space is also a good one too... since WAEC is basically SS3 students and other classes are not in session, the whole school being used would give perfect social distancing.

Nice one Atiku...

Atiku should chill

The world never settle.

Our education is grossly and shamelessly unproductive

Let them use now to overhaul it completely.
