We really need to put things into perspective.Transsion makes makes durable phones but they are over priced. I bought an infinix hot note about five years ago,it only stopped working three weeks ago and I only changed the battery once. At one one point it was downloading torrents continuously for four months without a break with the support of two power banks, generator and NEPA.Those were the days of MTN simple server. A new premium tecno is better than an aged iPhone because of technological advances.Most Nigerians are not into.gaming so Tecno phones are suitable and adequate for the right price.

Nairaland games section is a specialised sub section of the forum and not a microcosm of Nigeria.More than ninety percent of Nigerians do not play graphics intensive games so do not need Snapdragon devices. I bet statistics would indicate that most nairalanders don't go to the games section.I myself play chess and Scrabble.Why waste our scarce foreign exchange to buy something we don't need.,you don't need a Lamborghini to go to the supermarket.

theres nothing like aesthetic peformance from the tecno camon 15 air.

it has the low end mediatek helio p22 processor that has a below par peformance Theres nothing impressive or aesthetic there. Dont be deceived by design. Get the iphone 6.

the iphone might be an old phone, but it has better resale value and it has ios support even till next year. Tecno on the other hand is as good as dead after 1 year, heck no updates.

the iphone has a better camera too

a mediatek helio p22 does not support 48mp cam (tecno has not still proved this neither are they ready to debunk the fingers pointed at them)

good camera quality is almost 87% software based. Tecno has a poor software.

Nigerians are not heavy gamers, but most nigerians are heavy users of smartphones, even if its not heavy gaming, Nigerians are heavy businessmen/women there are graphic designers, there are fx traders, there are social media influencers, all these are high and resource demanding.

a graphic designer or a social media influencer with over 3k whatsapp contact that uses tecno phones like this camon 15 air is not ready or serious about his/her job. Stop making excuse for them, let them start selling their phones for the right price

To be candid,I don't go for premium phones because of a bad experience with a Samsung galaxy S2 which I bought brand new for 75k then, Naira was strong then, price iof data was crippling so I bought a BB torch and left the Samsung in a drawer for nine months, when I returned to it , it wouldn't work again but the infinix hot note I bought later worked for five years despite being abused for long periods.Transsion makes good durable phones but they are overpriced.They do not aim for the high end market but the middle and the budget end. I don't buy Transsion phones A.T.M but would buy if the price is right.

Data for Android back then was like buying an MTN sim and making calls on per min billing back in 2001, so everyone was good with BIS supcriptions, that has changed now
