I have been following Lampard's tactical evolution all season, he got some right and some very wrong.
His adaptation of a 3-4-2-1 against a very strong wolves team was a stroke of genius and he should have built around that fluidity and element of surprise.
I think that's what JK has done and even Pep as well... have a way of play but have several adaptations.

Klopp has evolved all season...
His gegenpressing core was evident against Crystal palace in the last match for example,
Their ability to counter quickly with spraying diagonal, stretching their opponents was all to see against the Manchester clubs
His ability to totally dominate a game was evident against Sheffield utd in January.

His setup has always appeared a 4-3-3 but it quickly turns to a diamond with firmino at the top of the midfield diamond and full backs providing width,
It can be a 4_2_2-2 in some cases and 4-2-3-1 in some.... this rotational and dynamism is the hall Mark's of modern football teams and Lampard should learn to adapt and adopt, whilst playing the football you yearn for.

You really do take your time to study football tactics. Well done
However, as a life long Chelsea fan ,I've been impressed with Lampard team set up this season regardless of the loss and how the team have conceded the most goals amongst the top 6.
This is a work in progress. He's made two top signings already and I'm very sure the defence line would be worked upon next season.
If the club can get a very creative attacking midfielder , left back and an experienced centre back . The team would do just fine next season.
