How can I use Black Berry to access the Internet via a Swift 4G modem & wi-fi router

what kind of bb ar u using?

I use BB 9000 (Bold 1)

Click on bb menu,open manage connections,click on the wifi menu, ensuring there is a tick in the wifi box,scroll down to service status,then click set up wifi network,then click on scan for network, if your router is found and it is not a secured network, you can add it, but if it is a secured network, you will need to enter the wep key to authenticate your connection. And I think, all things been equal, your bold one, should be good to go !!

@ Lexusgs430 tanks for the information, tried it and it worked but it works when am using browser, I cant use the wifi connection to access my yahoo messenger, facebook chat, twitter BB messenger and other applications. I would be expecting more replies

Do you have an active BIS subscription ?

@ Lexusgs430 I dont have BIS subscription as I already av a 4G wireless connection so am looking at two birds with one stone

You cannot connect to BB messenger, without an active subsciption, but you should be able to connect to all other websites, through ur WIFI connection. Have you tried using google has a pathway ?
