The relational aspects of life in community are not always easy, and the church of today seems to be struggling with unity. The answer to relational discord in the Christian community is to exercise love towards our brothers and sisters in Christ. This command is grounded in the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 22:39 " A second is equally important,'Love your neigbour as yourself'. This command was also highlighted by Apostle Paul in Romans 13:8 " Owe nothing to anyone-except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neigbour, you will fulfill the requirements of God's law". It is also expressed by St Peter in 1 Peter 1:22 " You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other DEEPLY WITH ALL YOUR HEART"

Loving others in the body of Christ is central to a Christian ethic.

Romans 12;10
"Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other"

Christians are to love each other with the mutual love and commitment that are found within a healthy family. Love is the pinnacle of all virtues. Moral exellence, Knowledge, Self Control, Patience endurance, Godliness and Brotherly affection must be expressed in "LOVE", if not all is VANITY.

Christians are to relate to one another in such a way that our communities of faith are characterised by acts of love.

Love should not be seen as an emotion but as a committment to meet others needs. Love means showing hospitality, caring for the needs of those who are Lonely, have no helper, in prison and persecuted. Love is being faithful in one's marriage and rejecting a life motivated by money.

There is great confusion in the world today regarding the nature of love and the character of the Christian church. Therefore there is a great need for the church to live out the Lord's command to "keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters, no matter the denomination you belong to. As long as you profess Christ as your lord and Saviour, to me u are a brother/ sister.

CONCLUSION

Miracles, Healings, Night vigil, Prayer sessions, Worshiping, Tithing, Praising, Sermons, Prophesing are all good for the church, but without love' all of the above is "WORTHLESS"

Love is the key ingredient needed for the body of Christ to be spiritually positioned in the world today. Without it we are all just wasting our time. That is the gospel truth.
