A Ghanaian man, Emmanuel Opoku, has been captured by men of the Enugu state police order for supposedly pouring boiling water on the bosoms of his nursing spouse.

A women based non-benefit association, WomenAids Collective WACOL who shared the miserable story on the web, said the nursing mother with a three-month-old child, was purportedly ambushed by Opoku after she approached him for cash to buy some food things. The gathering said Mr Opoku has been captured and will be charged to court on Monday, July 14 while the battered spouse has been taken to the emergency clinic where she is getting clinical consideration.
