The general belief is dat Men of God are suppose to be non-partisan in Politics. But nowadays it is now d opposite, d recent is dat of Pastor Tunde Bakare. Dont u think dis trend might spell doom for dis country. And are those Men of there to really make money or to effect changes? Your views will welcomed.

@OP the whole thing is becoming worrisome to most xtians who kno theironions.1st it was okotie.he said God told him.now its bakare,saying God told him.i am not doubting him but after the election we'll know if God did or not.what i know is that anybody who lies with God's name will get his due reward.their is no man of God who got involved in politics in the bible.part of their duties rather is to teach n inculcate in the leaders the fear of God,give God's counsel and caution them when they stray.in the new testament,non of the apostles or disciple ever got involved in politics.in the old,joseph and david did,but they were neither prophets nor priests.while joseph was appointed,david was annointed by a prophet and declared king by divine instruction.elijah never did.no prophet or priest did.their duty to the leaders was rebuking and giving them divine direction.today in nigeria it is a different ball game.my submission is that pastors who get involved in politics were not called into the ministry in d 1st pla
