The Nigerian government has disclosed that data tariffs in the country will crash by 40 % in the next five years.

The minister of communications and digital economy, Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, made the disclosure on Monday, July 13, at the opening ceremony of digital skills training for ICT.

Pantami said data tariffs in the country will crash by 40 % in the next five years, He stated that Nigerians would be able to explore more opportunities available on the internet with low-cost data in addition to hundreds of more jobs that will be created across the country.
