Unbelievable!!! That is if this is true, what could be responsible for this? How can someone fall from such a position to begging? This is practical demonstration of 'grace to grass'

An elderly man once told me that politicians are beggers, I didn't understand him until he further explained that nothing dulls a man's brain like cheap money. He said he rather learn how to pick from the scratch than being privileged to pick from the top because you can't know how to grow money as a politician. That's why they become poor once they leave office.

You never know. He probably spent his money on his children and girlfriends overseas. Those kids are cold blooded. They never look back or visit home for a long period.

Even when they visit for a few days, all expenses are paid. How else can he turn out like this?

many people who once worked with the dictator Mobutu are now out the gov (because nobody trusts these people), and unless they had special skills to start from the beginning again, most would be jobless too.

btw his name is Mutombo Kalombo and he was Mobutu special adviser on rural issues

One thing is to be broke and another thing is to have a responsible family around you, is equally important to be a blessing to others while you are in a privilege position because no one knows tomorrow, obviously the man has no one to run to for assistance at this time of need..

We should learn to look beyond our current status because tomorrow is pregnant....
