Having the standard which GOD has set and knowing that man can't be delivered from sin on its own, he provided the WAY for sinners to be delivered from sin's penalty.

Contrary to what many out there teach, Salvation through Jesus Christ is not free... there is indeed a cost as specified by Jesus Christ in the following Passage, and it does not take a simple prayer to obtain the benefit in question...

Matthew 11 vs 27-30 (ESV)

No one can become a follower of Jesus Christ simply by wishing for it. Jesus required that those who choose to follow Him do the work that He commands they first do. There are no short-cuts and everyone who wants to become a signatory on the New Covenant that is Jesus Christ has to obey His commandemts as stipulated by Jesus Christ.

1. Be prepared to abandon parents, brother, sister, children, spouse, in-laws, e.t.c.
2. Abandon all that you know/believe, have, and all that you are
3. Bear your own burden (not someone else's cross- not even your family's or children's)

Matthew 10 vs 34-39
