This APC rubber-stamped assembly can do anything to destroy any legacy instituted by the 8th assembly. They are still pained with Saraki and his perceived loyalists.

Even when the 8th assembly did the wrong thing. You’re too blind to say the truth.

They got 8th NASS to amend the laws just for them, if that isn't greed and selfishness, what counts?
How can you work for 40 years while there's a long line of qualified unemployed graduates?

To the best of my understanding, a resolution is no law. They should have made the 8th Assembly to present the matter as a bill, ratify it and send it to the presidency for a final approval afterall the Assembly may be independent but payment still comes from the National coffers. Morons.

Na Corona go kill that Omolori for service. He want to remain there while many people are looking for job.
That was what Saraki did for him for the convenance of a Kangaroo Senate president election of that time.

Do you know the numbers of graduates roaming the streets without jobs and you’re here supporting someone who has been working for 35 years to continue. We the youth of this country are the problem.

Too selfish. Why would they amend the retirement age for their own benefit. Instead of making way for other young hands to gain employment. I've been told that the position is very juicy though.

Keep quiet. Why did Saraki and his 99 thieves suddenly have to amend a long standing civil rules that have been in existence over yrs just to favour his cronies because of his selfish ambition

That was what Saraki díd to reward the clerk. The clerk was the one that helped Saraki to implement the coup during the 2015 senate President election

That was ,what Saraki díd . The clerk was the one that helped Saraki to change the senate standing rule which led to Saraki as Senate president. Saraki had to amend the retirement age to reward the clerk for his loyalty. The dubious Saraki

I wonder why government establishmens are altering retirement age. There must be standard retirement age for government service irrespective of which establishment asides from political offices that are either tenured or subject to elections Let's leave different retirement age to the Private sectors.

Saraki personal ambition should not overcome ambition of over 190 Nigerians. That's why they refer to him as a very greedy fellow politician in Kwara state. His greediness was what led kwarans not to vote him again. A very too desperate fellow, that was why he placed his personal ambition above the party in 2015

Maybe, he wants to clear his table with the remaining yrs ahead as most of them, has hidden agenda, whereby, they falsify their ages, doctor their a/c records in order to remain in office.

Most of them are well over 70 yrs of age, but keep getting reniewed affidavit of age, submit to the admin clerk, in order to stay in office to steal. By the time you discover the gravity of the crime they have committed and you want to probe them, they will be dead and with what they have stollen from the national treasury, nobody can probe the dead.
Tomorrow, their children they've used their office to get fixed in goverment offices, will continue.

That is why you see most elite families, keep recycling themselves in all government establishments and no matter how qualified the poor Nigerians who comes from poor family background, they end up waisted in life looking for jobs until they get frausted in life.

To serve Nigeria is now by force.

Nothing satisfies human beings.

After having acquired things for 35 plus years,
After having fixed your children in juicy places,

Now to retire ans rest na wahala.

Wait, so there is National Assembly Service Commission and National Assembly Management?

And I'm sure the both bodies employs hundreds of staff, contributing to the overbloated government workforce.

National Assembly Service Commission is equivalent of Federal Civil Service Commission and it is responsible for recruitment, discipline and promotion of national assembly staff.

National Assembly Management comprises top level staff at the level of Directors, Secretaries and Clerks.

Note that the definition of Secretaries and Clerks here is not typists ooo but high level staff above the rank of Directors
