A valid point but it gets defeated when faced with the reality that in Nigeria it's now officially accepted that top goverment appointments or elective positions automatically equates to wealth.
The competition is actually not that you are wealthy but how much wealthier are you compared to your government peers or predecessors in office.
The sad truth is that it would have been seen as a crime and sacrilege for Mrs Nunieh to have had any thing less imposing for a house in Nigeria.
