Magu has been suspended and no longer entitled to official security details except by private arrangement if he so wishes.

There must be a remote control that is used on Nigerian security officers. Sometimes, they themselves don't even know the reason(s) behind what they are doing. That's why when asked, they keep saying it's an order from above or an order from Abuja. The police will soon react that they were withdrawn to go for lunch break, and will say that practice existed since the last administration.
