I recommend that you read the Jero Plays (The Trials of Brother Jero and Jero Metamorphosis), and you will certainly fall in love with Soyinka. You can also read the Play of Giants.

And just like Soyinka, Okpewho was also a writer with a great sense of humor.

I don't find Okpewho that complex, though. At least, not as complex as Soyinka in his novels and some of his plays.

Yes, Cyprian Ekwensi was the one that wrote "An African Night Entertainment".

For him to effortlessly write about Hausa and Yoruba culture and stories,Cyprian is Nigeria's best novelist.I wished he delved into dramas and poems like wole.wole and achebe are somewhat overrated
