I think depends on sets of years.

I think WAEC Literature syllabi for prescribed books were always changed every 4 years. I know that JAMB used to change theirs every 3 years.

I think it has been long that any Cyprian Ekwensi's books featured in the syllabus of an examinations board.

The last time I was in Ibadan, I tried getting some of his books from the university library, but couldn't. His books are becoming very scarce just like many of Soyinka's books.

Nobody is using anybody. Even Nengi herself has said it that she really wants Ozo to be with her in the finals.
