We received over a thousand reports/complaints from highways across Nigeria this week, all bordering on the criminal activities of Police officers who have surpassed the threats of armed robbers and kidnappers on our highways. These reports have been corroborated by operators.

The increase in harassment of road travelers by some members of the #Police force and SARS (tactical squads generally) team. Buses are indiscriminately stopped on the highway, commuters are asked to step down for a prolonged search & privacy violated with illegal phone searches.

Some passengers are detained if not abducted while the driver is advised to proceed on the journey. This act has become too rampant and poses a SECURITY threat on travelers. This illegality has now become a culture & rights of rogue police officers.

Law abiding and tax paying operators (all organized transporters) conveying Nigerians accross the nation have to combat bad roads, kidnapping , arm robbery, etc. and should not have to deal with police harassment, oppression and indiscriminate abductions.

The excesses demonstrated by some officers in the discharge of their duties need to be curbed. This illegality and brigandage won’t buy our embattled Police institution the public trust they badly need. Soon the people will revolt.

Transporters & logistic operators are hereby charged to insist on completing their obligations to their customers on the manifest. They owe them a duty of care. Stop leaving your commuters behind to rogue Police officers operating outside the law without warrants.

Unless the subject is an actual suspect in an ongoing investigation proven by a warrant with his name on it, please insist on taking your passengers with you. Also never allow police officers to search anyone’s phone. It is illegal. Get an escort or partner with Àmòtékùn.

The madness may not End until we take drastic actions. Billions have been extorted by rogue Police officers on our highways beyond the ransoms paid to terrorists and kidnappers in the past 4years as records show. You owe the commuters that much to protect them.

If this madness continues before Christmas we may have to push for legislation that will enable credible citizens to Arm themselves against institutional brigandage and gross impunity since it is yet to be prioritized by Government. Our lives matter. The madness ends now.

#EndPoliceHarassment #EndImpunity

*Our Advice is:* Anytime this happens, note location and time plus physical features to help in identification with ease, pls.

Our lawmakers and ministers don’t ply this roads or encounter this people.. so they will not do anything.

The question is HOW do we as Nigerians get this change we NEED?
We have a lot of problems which birth more problems making Nigerians find it hard to live in Nigeria.
•Political thuggery,

•Police /SARS brutality (I have been on gun point with the police for at least twice for absolutely no reason).,

•Election rigging,

•Unemployment (imagine jobless Nigerian buying Jobs especially govt jobs as high as 250,000 per slot, that's if you'll even get the job.

•Gross decay of our educational system,

•Mind blowing corruption ( like seriously, in Nigeria -snakes can swallow Billions of Naira, rats can invade a presidential villa and Billions be spent to repel the rats. and its fine for our government to dole out this crazy news knowing that dumb Nigerian will just make jokes about it and calm down, comedy is all we like right?

Worse so, youths don't have jobs in Nigeria and worst is that other countries either deny us entry or restrict Nigerians from employment in their countries. This makes us stuck in odd positions of unemployment, impoverished living, stress etc while our Rulers are killing us in and out.

The list of our wahala is endless and mostly linked to our government (both the voters and the voted for and more especially the clowns that refuse to ever vote).

So the question is still. What or How can the change be achieved?

All of us youths need to come together as one whether Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Muslim, Christian, or traditionalist we have to fight this collective

We should try as much as we can to get students and young professionals involved in this movement. It is our movement, our future, our lives, and our country at stake. We can't be as docile as our parents had been to leave it all to the demons while sitting like lame ducks who'd complain and resort to prayers of "God dey" to wish it out. We are taking action to wrest our country from the stranglehold of the vampires such that our kids born and unborn would be proud of us when they hear or read the history of our patriotism and quiet revolt.

Needless to say , the so called 20 years of democratic dispensation has not only dispensed with the lives and welfare of the Nigerian people, the so called transition is notting but a transition from military dictatorship to civilian authoritarianism. The past 20years have however revealed that the PDP & APC have no fundamental difference other than such difference that exists between an armed robber and 419. both anti-poor parties are like the biblical satan who have only come to steal from the masses , kill them with bullets of poverty , insecurity , inadequate healthcare and finally to wreck destruction on their Future.

The Nigerian Police is just a branch of the OFFICIAL REAL ARMED Robbers, established by the FGN, to protect the rich and political elites, but authorized/approved/empowerd by the same government, to rob, kidnap, extort and kill at will, poor Nigerians, hence the FGN has done nothing to protect poor Nigerians from police brutality.

If any poor citizen goes to any police station to report any crime, the first bitter experience at that point is for the officer taking your report is to extort you, if you fail to pay, your case clossed.

If the rich who will only stay in the comfort of their homes and make just a simple phone call to the police, the next line of action of the police is to now follow as stated herein; we got a report that a robbery has just happened and IG tactical squard were mobolised and SWIFTLY SWUNG into action and the miscrants were arrested after gun battle with our combatant well trained officers.

That is just the mess in this nation.

Nobody my sister. We Nigerians are cowards. We can hide and ONLY come online to rant. Only South Africans who don't care of their personal lives, but fought for the lives of their yet unborn children, hence great people like Mandela fought for the freedom which their people are enjoying now.

Our own case in Nigeria is just that our leaders are after looting than governance, hence our present predicament. Too bad.
