At times we read news from the top and jettisoned the basis of the news or the cause why this people embarked on strike in the first place.

if you are in a place and u re not been paid won't you voice out or is it today we know that our government are the major problem of this great nation.

If there is a good governance and salary are been paid as at when due this people won't protest or embark on strike but cuz the state and federal govt have failed there expectation.

They risk their life for the mases and yet they are not paid, i pity those volunteering because they will also pass the samething.

let me ask you, if you worked in a place where you are owed salary and denied other benefits and exhausted all means to address the problem with those in authority, what will be your next line of action? let's leave the doctors and focus on the general staff....besides i seem to notice that when other health workers go on strike, nobody bashes them but once the doctors strike, there is so much noise, is it that the other health workers are not important?

If I develop emergency I wont have a choice but to meet the same unproductive people and pray that the doctor who attends to me is in a good mood, or is one of the few good ones.

my fear exactly, you can't compare experience when it comes to some professions, just like someone was suggesting volunteer lecturers to replace profs etc, the result can never be the same, you want to compare someone with 25 years of academic experience with someone still trying yo get PhD, ko le work lai lai

Really? Selfless service without protection in some of the worst hospital environments and working conditions in the world? Han ba, fear God, bi ko! They have children just like those polithiefcians stealing to take care of their children and themselves!

but truth be told nigeria is amongst the top countries in the world that underpays doctors
even in other poorer countries medical doctors are well paid.all these doctors going on strike everyday if una have the chance pls check out of nigeria.its not worth it working urself to death and being payed peanuts.
