Nigeria's COVID-19 Death Toll Rises Above 800 by Newsbreakers: 9:29am On Jul 21, 2020
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 562 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 37,225. 12 new deaths were recorded along with 228 recoveries. The Federal Capital Territory topped the list.

The 562 new cases are reported from 21 states- FCT (102), Lagos (100), Plateau (52), Kwara (50), Abia (47), Kaduna (35), Benue (34), Oyo (26), Ebonyi (24), Kano (16), Niger (15), Anambra (14), Gombe (12), Edo (11), Rivers (6), Nasarawa (5), Delta (5), Borno (3), Enugu (2), Bauchi (2), Kebbi (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 562 cases were from 21 different states. The Federal Capital Territory recorded the highest number of cases with 102. Lagos State followed with 100 while Plateau State had 52. 228 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 15,333 from 15,105. There were also 12 new deaths. Find the breakdown below:
