Traders of Africa is an e-commerce marketplace focused on driving intra-African trade as well as trade between Africa and other countries through technology. Her mission is to create sustainable wealth for individuals, communities, and organizations in Africa.

This is the problem of International Trade in Africa that we identified..

Africa’s smallholder farmers face many challenges preventing them from calling up their participation in markets, including lack of access to quality inputs and financial services, inadequate support from government and high transaction costs incurred when they transfer produce from farms to markets.
Middlemen take advantage of the lack of funds by these farmers, to purchase from products at cheaper prices and sell at much higher price in the global market. What if we could create a fairer market for these farmers?

Where We Come In

We connect thousands of suppliers and small scale farmers to large market opportunities through our digital platform, tradersofafrica.com making it easier for international importers to discover African manufacturers and producers.
Large scale trade between parties in different countries require large capital which suppliers might not be able to afford, to solve this impediment, we created African Trade Invest, The first digital platform made for verified trade suppliers to seek funding from a pool of individuals across the world.

How We Work

When buyers discover producers, they request for quote and compare prices from different verified suppliers, they negotiate with a specific supplier till they strike a partnership. Buyers may reach out to us to step in as negotiators through our source pro platform. Suppliers who have received a tender can request for funds on africantradeinvest.com  and get the finance they need to facilitate their trade.

What We Sell

We are focused on goods made in Africa which can be classified as food and beverages, construction materials, and apparel like Ara & Adire. Other categories include Home and furniture, beauty and personal care, packaging & supplies, minerals & metallurgy, and Agriculture. Agriculture is our largest product categories, encapsulates  all the major agro-commodities produced in Uganda, Nigeria, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Cotonou, Gambia, and East Africa
As a company, traders of Africa is operational in 15 countries in Africa and have signed over 15,000 farmers and merchants into its platform as suppliers. These farmers have transacted over $10 million dollars worth of transactions to date across Africa.

Where We Are

The growing traders of Africa will be looking out for more partnerships to continue to grow as it targets expansion in South Africa, Liberia and Ivory Coast while increasing its current flow of $1million dollars in the transaction and $10 million in investments.
We are open to partnership opportunities between government parastatal, Agribusiness platforms, investors and venture capitalists, send an email to info@tradersofafrica.com
