Dankaka Blow Hot, Chides Hon. Femi Agbaje And Hon. Tijani Over Unnecessary Visit by Egunsenujeje: 1:04am On Jul 23, 2020
The Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission, Hajia Muheeba Dankaka has frowned against unnecessary visit to her office by the Kwara State Commissioner for Enterprise, Hon. Femi Agbaje and the Federal House of Representatives Member Representing Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Constituency, Hon. Ismail Tijani.
This was contained in a rejoinder released by her Special Assistant, Olayemi Olabode over a story that has gone viral with accompanying picture of the Executive chairman FCC. The statement read thus.

RE: COURTESY CALL TO EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN FCC*

The attention of the Executive Chairman, Federal Character Commission, Dr Muheeba F. Dankaka (OON) has been drawn to a story that has gone viral on the social media, with an accompanying picture showing the Executive Chairman and Hon. Femi Agbaje and Hon. Tijani ismail

2. The Executive Chairman wishes to state that Hon. Femi Agbaje and Hon. Ismail Tijani visited her office on Wednesday, July 23, 2020, but as a matter of fact, the visit was not on the schedule of the Executive Chairman for the day. Hon. Femi Agbaje actually rode on the back of the back of Hon. Ismail Tijani who used his influence as an house of representative member to gain access to the Executive Chairman's office.

3. The meeting was brief, the discussion was informal as they only came for some petty talks about Kwara politics which she strongly declined. They requested for photographs with the Executive Chairman FCC.
Hon. Kayode Ismail Tijani solicited for borehole drilling contracts, drainages among others while Hon. Femi Agbaje relayed H.E Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's message where he solicited for the total loyalty of the Chairman which she declined.

4. The Executive Chairman FCC wishes to state clearly that they should exclude her from the complexities of Kwara Politics and warn that they should desist from roaming her office for unnecessary talks such as the one that happened today.

5. The Chairman wishes to state categorically that she is not representing Kwara State at the FCC but rather she's representing people of Nigeria.

Wise woman. She does not want to be clogged down by petty politics of her home state at the detriment of her job at the Federal level.

I believe though, that she may not succeed with a nepotistic Buhari who doesn't even make pretence of appointing his tribes men over other competent and meritorious candidates.
