Why cant we care for ourselves?


Even Lagos owned ferries that should be standard does not have life jacket? Why are we lackadaisical about safety ?

Graphic photos means the pictures are gory and unsightly. You people put "graphic photos" on everything.

I want to ask their live jacket is it not active or what? since every body on board are putting on live jacket how come they did not float on the water? Nigeria with their fake things in every aspects, thank God for lives.

Just a matter of time before Nigeria is fully blacklisted internationally as one of the most dangerous and unsafe places to live in the universe...

Consequent to that would be zero investments from foreigners and citizens, followed by terribly worse case of unemployment with attendant high crime wave... Anarchy and chaos will not be that far off!!!

simple stuffs like this can save lives.. life jacket during water transportation, seat belt while driving, helmet while riding ur bike, dont drink and drive etc.. Safety first but noo oo, we no go hear word, na to dey pray for enemy weh no get una time.

Hmmmm, this guys are extremely lucky to have survived the accident. I know this okrika River years back while working in Alakiri gas plant. I used to be very scared travelling from site to Port inside a ricketing flat speedboat. Some of the boat may even be leaking and the boat pilot will be bailing water out randomly, and sometimes boat may develop engine problem and passengers will be stranded for almost 30 mins on top water. Those boats are mostly overloaded especially when lots of people are on ground to sail to work in the morning. It is always a high risk travelling by boat in River state, especially if you are not good in swimming and It is hard to survive when boat capsize due to the high pressure of the water especially in raining season. Thank God for their lives.
