Upon all the money that was stolen they can't give NDDC website a facelift.

Akpabio is suppose to be in jail by now but as usual we will only see media trial and it will end there.

I think it's time we start taking law into our hands in this Country.

Akpabio should be stoned to death by Niger Delta youths.

He is a remorseless thief

Nigerians shaa.
We have too much time to be digging into the activities of that ministry.
Let's not be too quick to forget that the handlers are just the product of families. The truth remains that we are headed no where if the current narrative of "Dog eat dog" mentality we have developed over the years is not transformed.
Administrative and institutional corruption are holding us in the jugular attempting to drain every life still left in us.
NDDC is only a microcosm of what an average Nigerian mind represents: National Cake Mentality.
We are single-handedly isolating the heads of these institutions forgetting to also bear in mind the altitude of an average worker, especially those of us who have "job security"

We mist not be too quick to pass a verdict on NDDC.
That's what we represent.

They should just sell this country and give us from Niger Delta our share respectively.

This government is doing all they can to send people into more poverty.

No jobs, no infrastructure, no opportunities, no innovations, Businesses tied down for so many months because of government useless policies against Covid-19 and they are still trying to force us with all sorts of taxes (another one came today saying rents and leasers must pay 6%)

Border ! they refused to open.
Any youth not trying to escape Nigeria at all cost have traded his senses for mediocrity.

Is that not the same share your kith and kins are just mismanaging upadan. Buharis regime has exposed you Niger delta people.
Why didnt OBJ, Yaradua and Jonathans regime expose the rot there.
You are your own problem not Nigeria.

Where are the elite of the Niger Delta in all these? It's hard to believe that all them are complicit in this.

Reminds me of Ken Saro Wiwa and Adaka Boro. May their souls rest in peace.

Akpabio in jail by now, or ought to have been executed long before now you meant? Not even only him. Amaechi, Garba Shehu, etc are supposed to have been long forgotten by now in a sane country. In case many have forgotten the atrocities perpetrated by akpabio when in office including the killing of an innocent man who was supposed to succeed him as governor because the man said he would expose him if elected? Or the massive fraud he perpetrated as governor with the huge sum allocated to his state as one of the oil-rich states? Or the glaring money laundering case hanging in his neck? Or my relation's girl friend he took while the lady was still an undergraduate at the university of abuja by force, threatening to deal with the bf should he protest? The moment Garba Shehu, Amaechi and akpabio were accepted into the apc, I concluded in my mind the party would be worse than the PDP and deviate from their change mantra because the trio contributed to the massive corruption when in the pdp, same party they're now calling all manners of name. Jonathan, instead of being harsh on them, he was pampering akpabio and amaechi all because they hail from same region and same people dug his pit of defeat for him and contributed to the fall of the party.

I can remember, if many have forgotten the pressure mounted by amaechi as chairman of the then governors' forum on madam iweala to allow givernors share the excess crude money when the woman advised they save the money for the raining day. This man threatened the woman with everything and she had to succumb to them and allowed them embezzle the money but warned jonathan of grave consequences before he approved it.

APC with the recent glaring heart breaking revelations and unprecedented insecurity in our land coupled with massive resignation of our gallant soldiers and death of several of them are a proof that apc is now worse than the PDP in all aspects. Recently, nigeria was rated lower by a few digits on the global corruption index.

It still amazes me how some youths still praise this party, fighting themselves on social media despite the obvious graft and ineptitude in this party. Smh!.

Your submissions are very interesting. I must say that APC and PDP are just political vehicles through which these criminals access political offices as it pleases them.

Today, they are PDP; tomorrow you will find them in APC. I, therefore urge all sensible youths to desist from this APC versus PDP nonsense.

That said, the reason I am hoping that a third force can emerge to displace this PDP and APC is that APC has failed Nigerians but at least discoveries are being made, however with PDP you won't hear about these looting because they tend to treat every criminal infarction as a family affair. I prefer when there is in-fighting among the politicians - that way they can keep exposing themselves.

The rot in NDDC didn't start today; it has been there since the inception of the organization.

Shut your dirty mouth. NDDC has been a useless organisation since its creation, I'm baffled with the way you and your likes are shouting Akpabio up and down like he was the one managing NDDC all these years. In case you don't know, he's the one causing uproar in NDDC. You should all thank him. He has given NDDC befitting building within his short time as a minister after many years of using rented apartments

can we stop blaming Buhari for the injustice and evil perpetrated by our brothers? Buhari never created NDDC, was corruption not there from the beginning even when Goodluck Jonathan is there as president? what did he do? let me tell you. He sold NEPA to privatize criminals, that regularly stole from our transformers and also have the guts to demand money from us to purchase what they stole from the transformer. after they are gone you will still find the transformer the same without any new thing in it, and we are doing nothing about it. the people of Rivers State are still living in the nightmare that GEJ made governor of the state, come rain, come sun, all Niger Delta brothers in power should be stoned to death without pity.

This is a very ignorant and pedestrian thought pattern. NDDC is a true reflection of the level of rot and corruption in all institutions of govt. Singling and calling out Akpabio clearly shows you level if bias and hatred towards him.

If the citizens know what's happening in this country eh? No one would have been paying taxes, or nepa bills or any bullsh#****t charges from banks. Think about it carefully, a senator earns 32 million naira a month, NDDC stole 81 billion, even North East development commission are been investigated for missing 100 billion naira, the ministry of humanitarian affairs uses 600 million naira A DAY to feed school children even though schools are closed, the government closed our borders so that foodstuffs cannot enter and so as to strengthen Nigerian agriculture yet a bag of Nigerian farmed rice is 20,000 naira and above, a bag of Nigerian farmed maize is 19000 niara as at today, so who are we fooling? The nnpc doesn't remit billions of dollars yearly and nothing is happening.
Yet with all these, it is you the common man that change should begin with you, it is you that should pay ever increasing tax, you should just bare it like that even though they increased electricity tariff and bank charges and stamp duties and petrol price, and price of basically everything in the market.. Yet you the citizens will not take things into your hands? Just stay silent and continue to believe in this country, keep believing that things will change one day.
