BTW, is it true that it is easier for a southerner living in Nigeria to gain admission at havard university than get employed at Nigerian port authority.?

Someone wrote that on twitter.

Northerners colonise that place.

The Nigerian customs has become a major player in the Nation's economy. They now generate much of the IGR of our country, so if the contracts will boost the NCS operations in generating more revenues then it's a welcome development.

Don't worry the Customs is presently untouchable. Another regime would come which will prove the shenanigans.

Our guy has been coming up with bogus figures unchallenged. He spent N1.6b to recruit 3,000 officers.

Some top govt officials will be jumping in ecstasy and uncontrollable joy somewhere right now, cos maga don pay. They will now get some China made supplies so they can steal a higher percentage of the approved funds, or they may not even get anything at all. Some months/years later they will contest elections in a ruling party with this loot, win, and begin to fake being sick or crippled or collapsing when asked to explain. This is our own corruption cycle in Nigeria.
Some idiots would support the privatization later and say it isn't functioning to full capacity to generate the revenue requires.
Too much stupid people in Nigeria especially on this platform naira land.
