The cost is rather on the high side. What we need is the actual costs excluding cost of accommodation and services rendered by employees of the government. Are the patients lodged in hotels? Whats the cost of feeding each patient per day? What is the cost of a plate of food? The PPEs used by health workers is not for a single patient. What is the cost of medication given to each patient per day?

It shouldn't cost more than N30,000 per day for mild cases.



I know COVID-19 is real but this will not allay the fears of those skeptical about the existence of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

Prof Abayomi had said something relating to this before, when I was following the COVID-19 updates in Nigeria very seriously. So when I saw this, I wasn't moved at all. It has been stage-managed. They want to pondei us again, but I refused to be pondeied. I refused to be fooled by their minus (-) games on figures to generate an addition(+) sum into their coffers.

I mean, Lagos has over 13k coronavirus cases as we speak. So if they spend #1million on each of them, the sum is jaw-dropping. No problem.

But where I have issues with them now is: you are dealing with public funds, and u couldn't take appropriate records of your spendings, how? Who does that? Not even a time like this when a similar case is going on at the National Assembly. Having a rough sketch of account means nothing but advanced indecency. Chai! These people still see us as fools in this country. But truly, they are the fools. They should continue with their tomfoolery, we are watching.

Watching the Tom and Jerry comic series those days, knowing fully well that they are lying to us, we still continue to watch whilst we laugh. We never got tired.
