Ironically Buhari is part of those brokering peace deal in Mali whilst there are worse situations in naija from lack of jobs, bad economy, insecurity coupled with incessant killings in different parts of the country and gargantuan corruption in MDAs of govt.

Charity should begin at home and Nigerians needs to learn from citizens of smaller African countries that are challenging status quo of bad governance.

What's the essence of claiming to be giant of Africa when majority of citizens are docile.

Nigerians are scammers, and bloody cowards. Nigerians are giant of zombies, they scared of challenging their corrupt leaders but good at insulting IPOB and King Nnamdi Kanu that are fighting for their freedom.

Nigerians are wasting out at the bet9ija and reality TV shows.

If we are serious in this country, Buhari shouldn't be the one to be doing peace talk in another country. It should be other countries presidents coming to Nigeria hoping to hold peace talk among masses in their bloody fight against their government.

The funny part is most of these leaders are muslim, and they can't find a solution to a muslim related crisis

Giant of Africa has nothing to do with whether the ordinary Nigerian man and woman are stupid enough to take to the streets to destroy their country in order to please you but more to do with reach, Influence, Economy, Population, Military and so on. For instance, Nigeria, on her own, is more capable of dictating conditions to Mali than any other black African nation save South Africa. Of course, with France very influential in Mali and given our current embattlement with terrorists and given the possibility of adding Mali’s terrorism problems to ours, we aren’t going to be dictating terms to Mali any time soon.

Funnily enough, I received a notification on my Youtube dashboard, of some idiot boldly claiming that Nigeria is not Giant of Africa but that Ghana, Kenya and Rwanda are giants of Africa. Well, I’d like to see one of those nations sending military to Mali to enforce terms on conditions. Nigeria is capable, she has the militery and economic might to do so.

Can't most of you reason that there is a connection between conflicts in Mali and other neighbouring countries and peace in Nigeria. Where do you all think those bandits are coming from? Do you think they are mainly Nigerians?

Blind person calling on blind friend for help

Dullard is calling on dullardino.

Buhari would have done well by advertising our security challenges to Mali President probably they might drop their problem and stay in solidarity with us...

Call Buhari for the following items
Bokoharan graphics
Banditry... Microsoft
Fulani excel
Kidnapping outlook...

Stamp duty
Increase of Vat
Proposed 6% of rent to Government...

No wonder Fela sang about austerity in Buhari time... Animal with craze man skin

#BuhariInMali : many of our foolish youths and 'intellectuals' dont understand the strategic importance of Buhari's visit to Mali? Are they just playing politics or they are just plain stupid?

So you don't know we need a politically stable Mali as a line of defence against ISWAP?

We already have a hard time curtailing the Boko Haram/ISWAP war. Things can only get worse with a dismembered Mali. We thought Libya was far away but see where how quickly the arms trade spread south.

There are some things we should never politicize; that visit is one of them.

Person house dey burn, Una say make him dey find rat. On what grounds is he even qualified to attend the peace summit when Biko Haram is running rampage in his backyard. I really don't understand this continent called Africa. I'm not sure and I stand to be corrected that there isn't a single African country without one crisis or the other. All because the leaders are just bunch of nonentity with a few exceptions and our's is the leader of the bunch.

Hmmmm, very funny, so Nigeria went to Mali to negotiate and help calm down the protest.
And when I asked what the reasons for the protest are, I was told that malians are asking their president to resign because of bad economy, prolonged terror attacks and corruption.
Corruption has taken annoying dimension in Nigeria, the Mali own is child's play.
Boko Haram terrorists have been terrorizing Nigeria for over twelve years now, Malians are protesting for theirs that is barely eight years.
On economy, Nigeria is almost in recession for the second time since 2015 and yet we led other countries to Mali.
This is simply a case of a pot calling kettle black

"Five of the region’s leaders met Mali President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita and leaders of a protest movement clamouring for his resignation, as a long-running jihadist insurgency threatens to throw the country into chaos."

They should do the same thing in Nigeria. We have a long-running jihadist insurgency that doesn't seem to have an end in sight as well.

You can only give what you have. Buhari's state Katsina is boiling with killings. He has nothing to do with peace and diplomacy. He's a low IQ person bereaved of wisdom, unity, peace and development. Nigeria is in deep mess under him.

Stop that nonsense. The real Buhari is dead . If the real Buhari is alive he would not stand aloof n watch situation deteriorate in his own state .

The truth of the matter is that africans are not capable of leading themselves the earlier the so called african leaders swallow their pride and beg their colonial masters to come and take over leadership the better for the continent because there have all failed woefully.
