Please fellow nairalanders, I'm thinking of starting a logistics company in Abuja but I don't know where to start. I already have an office space and enough funds to acquire around 4/dispatch bikes. I just want to know whether it's profitable, challenges, potential costs and things I need to know. Any input would be helpful. Please mods, help me move this to the front page

I do not know about Abuja, but it is very profitable using Lagos as a case study provided you can curb the corrupt excesses some of your greedy riders and staff.

NB: You will need a logistics management app preferably one with maps embedded in it.

Yes it's very profitable. You have to promote yourself a bit and get contracts with various businesses.
I recommend getting a logistics website and app where clients will be able to book your services from.
