The Naira on Friday weakened marginally against the dollar at both the parallel market in Lagos State and the investor’s window.

NAN reports that the Nigerian currency traded at N472.5 to the dollar at the parallel market, down by 0.5 points from N472 exchanged on Thursday.

The Pound Sterling and the Euro closed at N582 and N530, respectively.

Don't mind the nonsense they wrote on the APC campaign poster, it was all a lie to deceive gullible Nigerians, cos that's too much to expect in the first place. Maybe we have what it takes to get N100 to $1 if we get the economics right and we quickly develop vital sectors like agriculture, solid minerals, manufacturing and optimize oil and gas, while totally eliminating corruption and every other major financial loopholes.

But to expect N1 to $1 is a very mad and insincere expectation, especially from a president and a presidential team with no sound knowledge of economics...
