It has ..from akwa ibom to rivers ...new roads have been built , thousands studied abroad with that money ...new schools ..new Universities ...new hospitals ... grant and all ...yes some have been stolen

But that doesn't change the fact that we have been stealing from Nigeria Delta ...they deserve 75% of the money from oil ...what ever they do with it is no one's business ... except theirs

The rest of us should fight for our own resources

That's the truth ..trying to paint Niger deltans as irresponsible is never going to work ...south south is the most difficult places to do road in Nigeria ...cost of one road in bayelsa would do 10 roads in osun or enugu ...and 15 in North .. enough of all this rubbish ..it's their oil money u don't get to talk

God bless you!.

Notice how the person you quoted reasons upside down. They don't mind collecting all the 50 trillion and then squander it. Nothing like accountability in their dictionary, afterall Yorubas, Hausas, Fulanis etc. are there to blame.

I pity the coming generations of those in Niger Delta.

100bn was lost from North East development commission but u are all fixed on 85 billion from nddc

Nigeria should hands off Niger Delta oil and there won't be need for nddc in the first place to be corrupt

Niger Delta gets less than 25% of their oil money

Can we the rest Nigerians account for the rest 75% ? Can we ? Don't be hypocritical ...give the oil money to the owners

First, from your writeup I can tell the region you came from. Greed and self-centeredness takes noone anywhere.

Lagos, a Yoruba State has been the window of international trade for Nigerians for so long, South West generates 65% of total revenue whereas South South with all the oil noise generates just 30-33% of revenue.

Should Yorubas rise up today to claim all the revenue and ports, you think your kind will survive?

This is free money from Big Brother (Federal Government), you should have asked yourself how much the so called Niger Delta States invested in the money they received?

Absolutely Nothing, Dangote is building a refinery in Lagos, one would have thought the so called Niger Delta States, jointly, or severely should have set up their own petrol chemical facility, to take advantage of The Federal Government’s shortcomings, please blame your woes on the social illiteracy of the ogogoro people, with all the billions at their disposal, through NDDC, DESOPADEC, no electricity in the region. Useless Animals.

Governor Okowa of Delta State is pleading to cut salaries of civil servants for 6 months, but these same man received 219 billion last year from the Federal statutory allocation, tomorrow they will say it is President Buhari that spoilt the region, Barawos.

Me that want south south given their oil is selfish and greedy ...u that want to share 87% of oil money equal with them is not greedy and nice ....why so u yorubas always like to project your self on others
Are u scared u can't survive without oil ...why not push for the same idea so I can keep your imaginary 65% revenue contribution

The sea port was and investment made by all of us ...it's does not belong to South West ....
.Lagos was built with our money ...Lagos was not part of the western Nigeria initially

Oga oil generate 70% of all our revenue just shut up ...

Read your own writeup again.. does it make sense to you?

Lagos was built with "our money" according to you but the infrastructure, installations etc. of government in Niger Delta was built with "money that fell from heaven".

It's pointless conversing with most of you. It's a waste of precious time.

By Brother I am from the region, stop living in a Fools paradise, the oil belongs to The Federal Government, Nigeria is a Country of Laws as enshrined in our Constitution, what ever you feel is your personal opinion, it doesn’t change the statutes of the Oil Minerals Act 1978, & The Lands Use Act 1978, the States get an extra 13% to fight environmental ills, when Ibori, Alams, stole like economic bandits, did Delta, or Bayelsa claim any money was missing? You must still be a kid, yet to understand the Laws of The Federation of Nigeria.

Obviously u have no or little understanding of how the oil industry works ...

Nigeria invest nothing ...the oil companies build and provide the infrastructure ....that's why they get 45% of oil sales profit
..
U have to even pay Nigeria to explore a potential oil field ...that's $20 million

Ask questions if u don't know things

Exactly my thoughts.. he doesn't even know that NNPC on behalf of Nigeria's government has largest shares in arguably all oil investments in the country with several Joint Venture partnerships.
Not to even mention the numerous subsidiaries and their functions. The guy is obviously a troll

Input from who?when it was drafted & made law in 1979, did your parents, or grand parents complain?, when it was amended in 1999, did your family complain? You know what a Failure will always have something, or someone to blame for his own shortcomings.

Mr Man no Country in the world has a perfect Constitution, there is nothing like a perfect Constitution, even England doesn’t have a Constitution that is codified into a single document, stop showing your ignorance in public, Go and study more, to be the best you can be.

Did any body beg the IOC’s to come and invest in Nigeria, when the Oyibos come to Nigeria with briefcases of Benjamin Franklin for NNPC officials, nobodies fault you have no idea about dirty oil money, even job men from the early 90’s till date, are still collecting from format based NNPC turn around maintainence (TAM), Mugus are still ready to pay for Allocation, for over invoiced purported contracts.
