The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, the ministry which directs and coordinates the activities of Nigeria's Npower Program has released very vital information as the deadline for the Npower registration and application ends.

Recall that the Npower Application which started on Friday June 26, 2020 was supposed to end midnight of Sunday July 26 2020 which could have been exactly one month of the registration process.

Npower, a social investment program which is targeted at empowering Nigerian with skills and experience is one of the biggest investment program of the Buhari administration.

The program comes in batches as the batch A and batch B members have come to the end of their program though the Federal Government is yet to pay billions of naira it owes the batch A and batch B beneficiaries of the program.

The batch C edition of the Npower program has however, become the most interesting and critical as the Federal government intends to use this edition to alleviate about five hundred thousand (500000) Nigerians from poverty, and hence, it's latest directives concerning the program.

A lot of changes and new information have been issued by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development concerning the way forward for the Npower program. One of which is the extension of the Npower Application and registration deadline.

While making the changes, announcing the new deadline and making further clarifications about the Program, the ministry also revealed the total number of applicants since the application started.
