Why Is Lagos Seaport The Only Active Port In Nigeria? by bigpriik: 8:09am On Jul 27, 2020
Who are the most marginalised region in Nigeria? The answer is south south .Igbos are not even as marginalised as we think, how can a region that produces the greatest revenue for the counrty not have an active seaport, how can a country with over million people be allowed to import From just Lagos and yet we claim one Nigeria who is deceiving who?

Forget BiAfra for now , if you are a South southerner and you are busy chanting one Nigeria then you should examine your head.southeast doesn't produce up 15% of Nigerias oil and we don't have direct access to the sea like Niger delta but yet we are complaining ,does Lagos have direct or better access to the sea like delta, cross river, akwaibom, bayelsa and the rest why do we have to depend on Lagos? It's simple they don't want real development to move East, It should be North a d West alone..

Southsouth open your eyes to reality.

It is just a conspiracy to keep other regions away from Int'l connections.

I think same reason oil and gas people are closing offices in Warri, PH and Calabar to relocate to Lagosians Abuja is same reason why Lagos port is more functional. With the Warri - Itakpe rail connection to Kogi state, I think it makes sense for northern bound cargos to pass through Warri port but who wants to endure the dévè debate with ND boys? No one.

That conspiracy only exist in the brain of blind and uncivilized ND boys. Lagos has a better connection to the rest of country. Just try moving from from Calabar to PH to Bayelsa and observe the number of checkpoint you see then compare to Lagos - Ibadan - Osun.

Business atmosphere in Lagos is better even. though Lagos is more congested.

This one has realised that the Biafra chant is dead on arrival so he wants to instigate Niger Delta against Nigeria,Igbos are very funny.
Y is it hard to face your struggle alone without putting another tribe in it?u call Yorubas cowards because they said they are not interested in seccesion n u realise it didn't work, now u want to start pressing Niger Delta mumu button.

Face your landlocked republic n let everyone fight for himself,u present fg as d Niger Delta problem while u forget what happens in NDDC lately.........wailers

Soon you will still ask why Dangote not open factory in the southeast.

Continue envy. Even south south not complain what is your headache? And moreover at least they still have seaports whether it active or not. You can't force people where to ship their goods to.

I hope you can do better. Calling us blind for saying it out is very callous.

Sir, who kept the checkpoints? Why? For what purpose?

Does the ND consists more crime that the SW? From a very objective perspective, NO! It is simply a state policy to create an environment that seems unfriendly to drive a point.
