Today In History II In 1977,July 28: A former Second-Lieutenant in the Army, Hassan Klaji, of Camp N.A.I.C. Tego Barracks, Apapa, was sentenced to death by the Lagos State Armed Robbery Tribunal. He was guilty of robbing a man, Lofty Anyaegbu of his Peugeot 404 saloon car valued N5, 000 and the sum of N6, 000 while armed with a sub-machine gun, along Apapa Road, Lagos on September 26, 1975.
